Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Buick Grand National is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Ced used a flat head screwdriver for this install. Loosen the clamp nearest the throttle body.
Step 2
Pull the air intake duct back a few inches and Install the Vortex Valve™ inside the intake duct, flat side facing the throttle body. Just like the picture at the left.
Step 3
Replace the air intake duct and tighten the clamp. Also Ced has installed a torque strap to hold the engine from jumping out from under the hood. A good idea if you've got as many ponies as this. Notice the 1/4" bolt holding the torque strap is already bending. We are talking brutal horsepower, thanks to the Vortex Valve™. You are ready to burn down V8s - BIG TIME!
