Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Fork Lift Cat® 50 2002 is as easy as 1,2,3.

Step 1

Fork Lift Cat® 50 2002 install step 3 Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Move the seat out of the way and open the hood. Using a flathead screwdriver we loosened the clamps on both ends of the air intake duct.


Step 2

Fork Lift Cat® 50 2002 install step 3 We removed the air intake duct and installed the 7309-8C Vortex Valve™in the duct with the flat side facing the engine like the picture at the right.


Step 3

Fork Lift Cat® 50 2002 install step 3 Slide the air intake duct back over both ends of its connection and tighten the clamps. You are ready for improvements in fuel usage and performance, not to mention much lower emissions.
