If you have a 350 CID / 5.7L GM V8 engine with a carburetor or TBI or fuel injection we have a Vortex Valve™ for your application. The 350 has been around for over 35 years. It is still a great power plant. The Vortex Valve™ can be easily installed on any year. Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your 350 CID / 5.7L or any GM V8 all the way up to a 454 CID is as Easy as 1,2,3.

Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. No tools needed for this installation. We removed the wing nut on the top of the air cleaner housing (on some models there are two wing nuts).

We removed the top. This is what the Rochester 4-barrel (figure a and c) and a TBI setup (figure b and d) looks like. Then we installed a 4309-10.5C around the perimeter of the carburetor and the TBI. Same Installation.

The TBI install (figure d) on this 1994 350/5.7 is the same as a carburetor. Install the Vortex Valve™ around the perimeter of the TBI/throttle body. Note: This setup only has one wing nut.

We replaced the new air filter element, then the top of the air cleaner housing like the pictures at the left. Replace and tightened the wing nuts (this one has two wing nuts). Done. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of power and response and great mileage too.
