Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Chevy Vortec® is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. That one little screw is right here where the slot screwdriver in the middle picture above is pointing. Just a couple of turns and its loose.
Step 2
Once the screw on the clamp is loose, just pull back. You will see right into the throat of the throttle body.
Step 3
Fit the Vortex Valve™ into the duct. Put the duct back over the throttle body and tighten the clamp. You are done. Get ready for some amazing power and as soon as you can stop standing on it you are going to get about 15% to 22% improvement in mileage.
