Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Chevy Silverado 1998 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a flathead screwdriver Drew loosened the clamp where it holds the air intake duct to the throttle body.
Step 2
Drew pulled back the air intake like the picture at the left and installed a Vortex Valve™.
Step 3
Slide the air intake duct back over the throttle body and tighten the clamp. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of power and response and great mileage too.
