Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Cummins™ N14 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a 7/16" deep-well socket (you can use an end wrench) we loosened the spring clamp on the air intake duct, after the intercooler, where it meets the manifold on this N14.
Step 2
Then we removed the duct where it is clamped to the air intake manifold as shown at left.
Step 3
Install the amazing Vortex Valve™ inside the duct, like the photo at the left, where it fits over the throat of the intake manifold. The flat side of the Vortex Valve™ always faces the air intake manifold.
Replace the duct and secure. You are ready for serious savings and big, big power.
