Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Dodge Ram 150 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Loosen the wing-nut on the top of the air cleaner, as shown on the left. Keep the wing-nut with the air cleaner top.
Step 2
Take the top of the air cleaner off. The air filter element and the throat of the carburetor are right there.
Step 3
Install the amazing Vortex Valve™ around the outside of the carburetor where it meets the inside of the air filter base. The flat side faces the engine. There is a Vortex Valve™ for every size carb. Replace the top and tighten the wing-nut. Click here to see the test results.
