Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Dodge/Cummins T-Diesel is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a 7/16” end wrench we loosened both clamps where the inter-cooler meets the air intake manifold. Loosening both clamps makes it easier.
Step 2
Pull back the rubber coupling like the picture at the left. The Vortex Valve™ goes in like the picture at the right. Flat side facing the air intake manifold.
It looks like this when it is seated properly.
Step 3
Slide the coupling back over the air intake manifold and tighten both clamps. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of power and response and great mileage too.
