Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Dodge/Cummins 2002 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a 7/16 end wrench we loosened the clamp where they it holds the air intake ducts to the manifold.
Step 2
We pulled back the air intake duct and installed the 4309-6C Vortex Valve™in the duct with the flat sides facing the engine like the picture at the left.
Step 3
Slide the air intake duct back over the manifold and tighten the clamp. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of extra power and response and great mileage too.
