THIS INSTALLATION HAS A FEW CLAMPS AND BOLTS IN IT BUT IT SHOULDN'T TAKE YOU OVER 5 MINUTES IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST.

Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Dodge 4.7L V8 is as easy as 1,2,3.

Step 1

Dodge 4.7L V8 install step 3 Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Dodge V8 Install 1aLoosen the clamp on the air intake duct where it comes into the air canister on the passenger side. Next loosen the hose clamp directly behind and closest to the air canister. There are a couple of bolts that need to be removed on the struts of the canister.


Step 2

Dodge 4.7L V8 install step 3 Dodge V8 Install 2aDisconnect the air intake duct from the air canister and tilt it slightly upward and pull straight back. It will reveal the throat of the throttle body with the short connector like the picture at the right.


Step 3

Dodge 4.7L V8 install step 3 Install a 43906 Vortex Valve™ in the short connector like the picture at the left with the vanes pointing toward the front of the vehicle. Slide the air canister over the Vortex Valve™ and back into the short connector until all the bolt holes on the canister struts line up and tighten the clamp on the short connector. Replace the bolts on the struts and reconnect the air intake duct and tighten the clamp. You are ready for some great performance and savings. You will feel it right away.
