Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Dodge Viper 2003 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a flathead screwdriver we loosened the clamp where it holds the air intake duct to the throttle body.
Step 2
We pulled back the air intake and the filter box like the picture at the left. We installed a 4309-9E in the end of the air intake duct where it meets the throttle body. That's one size bigger than the big Corvette takes.
Step 3
Slide the air intake duct back over the throttle body and tighten the clamp. You are ready to rip up the asphalt anywhere, anytime. This is the only view you're likely to get.
