Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Fleet Install is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a flathead screwdriver we loosened the clamp where it holds the air intake duct to the passenger side of the conical air filter housing.
Step 2
We pulled back the air intake ducts and installed the 4309-7 Vortex Valve™in the ducts with the flat sides facing the engine like the picture at the left.
Step 3
Slide the air intake duct back over the passenger side of the conical air filter housing and tighten the clamp. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of extra power and response and great mileage too.
