Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your RV GulfStream is as easy as 1,2,3.

RV GulfStream install step 4 Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. If your set-up was like ours you have to have access to the engine from the front and the back. We took off the panel under the steering wheel and the "Dog House."


Step 1

RV GulfStream install step 4 With a flat head screwdriver we loosened the clamp where it connected to the throat of the throttle body. It looks like the picture at the left.


Step 2

RV GulfStream install step 4 We pulled back the air intake duct and inserted the Series E Vortex Valve™in the duct with the flat side facing the engine like the picture at the left.


Step 3

RV GulfStream install step 4 Now you get to put it all back together. Slide the air intake duct back over the throttle body and tighten the clamp. Hook up all the electrical and vacuum connections you had to un-hook. Replace the panel under the steering wheel and the "Dog House." You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of passing power and response with great mileage too.
