Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Hummer H2 2005 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. 
First we removed the 8mm bolt in the middle of the Vortec™shroud. Removing the shroud is accomplished by tilting it upwards and pulling forward. There are two clips at the rear of the shroud. Using a 10mm nut driver (or flathead screwdriver) we loosened the clamp where it holds the air intake duct to the throttle body.
Step 2
We pulled back the air intake duct and installed the 4309-8C Vortex Valve™in the duct with the flat side facing the engine like the picture at the left.
Step 3
Slide the air intake duct back over the throttle body and tighten the clamp. Replace the shroud and bolt and tighten. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of extra power and response and great mileage too.
