Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Mini Cooper 2002 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a flathead screwdriver we loosened the clamps where they hold either end of the air intake duct.
Step 2
Notice the doctor is wearing his best surgical gloves. Sano. He pulled back the bottom connection where air intake duct meets the throttle-body and installed a 7309-9C Vortex Valve™in the duct with the flat side facing the engine like the picture at the left. Then he reconnected the air intake duct over the throttle-body and tightened the clamp.
Step 3
Next, a 7309-9C was installed in the other end of the air intake duct where it meets the air cleaner box. Flat side facing the engine, like the picture at the left. Replace the duct and tighten the clamp. Then shut the hood, get in, put on your seat belt, pull it real snug, start your engine. Enjoy.
