Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Seaswirl is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. No tools needed for this install. Just loosen the wing nut and take off the top of the air cleaner housing. Take off the cover and the air cleaner.
Step 2
Place the Vortex Valve™around the outside of the 4 barrel carb with the flat side facing the engine like the picture at the left. Make sure the placement of the Vortex Valve™doesn't interfere with any of the linkage or butterfly valves. You may have to move a bit from side to side to get the perfect fit.
Step 3
Slide the air cleaner over the Vortex Valve™and put the top back on. Then tighten the wing nut. You are ready for a beautiful day or rough water with plenty of power and response too.
