Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your RV Tioga 1992 is as easy as 1,2,3.

You may need two Vortex Valves™ for this vehicle.

Step 1

RV Tioga 1992 install step 2 Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running. Using a flathead screwdriver we loosened the clamps where they hold the dual air intake ducts to the throttle body. Note: E Series with the shortened hood is pictured at the left and the F-Series with the full hood is pictured on the right.


Step 2

RV Tioga 1992 install step 2 We pulled back the air intake ducts where they meet the air box and installed the 4309-6C Vortex Valves™for the E-Series and 7309-9C Vortex Valves™for the F-Series were installed at the manifold, in the ducts with the flat sides facing the engine like the picture at the left.


Step 3

RV Tioga 1992 install step 2 Slide the air intake ducts back over the throttle body and tighten the clamps. You are ready for the open road or wall-to-wall traffic with plenty of extra power and response and great mileage too.
