Installing a Vortex Valve™ on your Yamaha Grizzly 2003 is as easy as 1,2,3.
Step 1
Make sure the engine is off. Always wear gloves when working on machinery that is not running.
This installation is too easy. No tools, no anything. Here's what you do. Pop off the seat. You will see the top of the air cleaner housing. It's held in place by 4 clamps. Push them to the outside to open and remove the top.
Step 2
Pull the air filter element straight up to remove, like the picture at the left. Install a 7309-9C Vortex Valve™in the air intake duct leading to the throat of the carburetor, like the picture at the right. Slide it about 1" into the duct.
Step 3
Replace the air filter element. Replace the air cleaner housing cover and snap the 4 clamps into place. Don't forget to replace the seat. You are ready for any terrain with plenty of extra torque, power and response and great mileage too.
Guarantee
Your Vortex Valve(s)™ will be on its way to you within 7 working days. There are a few special applications and these may take a week or two longer. Your Vortex Valve™ is 100% guaranteed against any defects in workmanship and materials. Your Vortex Valve™ is made in the USA with high quality stainless steel that's made here too.
Air Synergy Labs, Inc offers a Lifetime replacement guarantee on workmanship and any manufacturer defects as long as you own the vehicle on which it is installed.
